TEENAGERS went back to school to collect their GCSE certificates.
The evening was staged at the John Spendluffe Technology College, on Hanby Lane at Alford.
"It was a chance for former students to collect their qualification certificates achieved in the summer," said John Spendluffe administration manager Teri Chatterton.
"And it was an informal evening that gave students a chance to get together with teaching staff and their peers to celebrate a bumper year for results.
"Staff enjoyed the opportunity to find out more about the courses and apprenticeships that students are now taking part in.
"For many of the teenagers, having moved on to different colleges and schools, it was a time to reflect on their time at John Spendluffe.
"Staff were particularly pleased to note that many students appreciated the support they were given whilst at school – enabling them to take the next steps towards their career goals."
